NADA 2019
After attending the National Automotive Dealers Association Show in San Francisco this past weekend we gotta say, the show just gets better and better each year! Watching the emergence of new companies and the growth of existing ones reminds us how much incredible technology is out there for dealers to help them accomplish more than ever before.
NADA has launched a new 2-day training class taught by Georgia Munson for all new managers including Sales Managers, Office Managers, Service Managers, and Parts Managers. They encourage Dealers to send those new to these positions to gain priceless guides and goals, promoting success for these individuals and their departments. We think the launch of this training will really help managers as many get promoted because of internal success in an old job without being given much training on how to be an effective manager.
Providing training and tools for your employees is the best investment you can make for long-term dealership success and employee satisfaction. With access to a variety of powerful resources, It’s easier than ever to show you’re invested in your team members success and careers. Because we know how much education impacts dealership success, we’ve teamed up with DealersEdge to provide more parts training workshops. We’re committed to providing Dealers excellent resources for parts management, especially since there’s not a lot of parts training out there.
We’ve found that most dealers don't know just how much industry changes have exposed their parts business to vulnerabilities. Through working with hundreds of Dealerships we have found these alarming trends:
- Return allowances are shrinking faster than you think
- Parts Department profits are shrinking right along with them
- Obsolescence is growing and putting further pressure on parts profits
Parts Departments need a new plan! In our workshop, we cover topics such as inventory control, pricing formulas and pay plans so Dealers and parts managers can maximize success.
