Chuck is the President of PartsEdge and our resident parts industry expert. With more than 42 years in the automotive industry, his experience spans nearly every level of fixed operations. He started his career as a parts delivery driver and worked his way up to Fixed Operations Director, giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges dealership teams face every day.
Over the past 16 years, Chuck has led more than 300 industry seminars and has served as a workshop leader for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). His deep parts expertise and practical, real-world approach have played a major role in shaping PartsEdge and how we help dealerships build more productive, profitable parts departments.
When he’s not talking parts, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife of 39 years and their three daughters. He’s also a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan and an avid runner, completing more than 64 half marathons and 10 full marathons over the past decade.
Cliff Cope
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Cliff co-founded PartsEdge more than 20 years ago and is the creative mind behind the technology that powers what we do today.
His fascination with electronics started at just 10 years old and eventually led him into electronic engineering, where he was recruited directly out of high school to work in an engineering lab in San Diego. After relocating to Albuquerque, Cliff found his way into the automotive industry and quickly recognized an opportunity to bring technology and dealership operations together in a better way.
Before co-founding PartsEdge, Cliff built one of the early technology companies serving dealerships nationwide. That experience, combined with his understanding of dealership operations, ultimately helped shape the technology behind PartsEdge.
Today, Cliff leads our software development and continues to challenge how technology can give dealerships better visibility, stronger processes, and smarter ways to manage their parts operations.
Outside of PartsEdge, Cliff is still very much a builder. He builds engines from scratch, shoots a mean game of pool, and enjoys boating and off-roading with his family.
