I spend a lot of time taking controlled parts off my Honda stockorder. What is the best way to get these parts to quit showing up on my daily stockorder report?

Newbie,

In two words.... Source them!  Create a source in your DMS that will not reorder them.  You can do this by putting in a next to impossible phase in criteria (like 99 sales in 9 months) and then move these parts into that source.  If you are ADP, you can "shut down" the source to never reorder by simply answering "N" No to MSDS prompt #2 (Automatically Reorder Y/N).  By doing this, the source will never order on a standard STK option unless you "force" the source to order manually.  On ReyRey, you should be able to do nothing with the impossible phase in (days supply should be 1 Hi and 2 Low) or simply exclude that source in 2043 when building your daily stockorder.  Let me know if you have anything else

Depending on your system, you can put these parts to manual order and they should not come up on your regular stock order.

papadawg,

You might want to consider the solution suggested. While you can move them to "MO" Manual Ordering status, the problem is they will never drop off your system unless you remove them yourself. By creating the "Never Stock" scenario with a standard "Phase-Out" criteria, you can leave them on NS special status and if they don't qualify after "X" months, they will drop.
